Tyga is expanding his creative reach beyond music as he prepares to make his feature film debut in the coming-of-age drama Baby, You’re a Star. The rapper, born Michael Ray Stevenson, will not only star in the film but also take on roles behind the scenes as a producer and co-writer, marking a major step into the film industry after more than a decade in hip-hop.
Directed by Arrad Rahgoshay, the movie will feature a diverse cast including Madison Bailey, Ashton Sanders, Mike Epps, Apollonia, Clifton Powell, Patrick Cage, and David Alan Grier. The story centers on a determined young artist navigating personal struggles in pursuit of success, a narrative that closely mirrors Tyga’s own journey in the music industry.
