In the heart of Siargao Island, where nightlife stretches deep into the early hours, a new food destination is quietly redefining the after party experience. HOTTO BORU has emerged as a late night haven for surfers, travelers, and night owls searching for warm and satisfying meals after hours. Known for its authentic Japanese udon served in rich dashi broth, the kitchen delivers a comforting reset for those coming straight from the island’s vibrant party scene. Open from 6PM to 3AM, it fills a crucial gap in Siargao’s food culture by offering quality meals when most establishments have already closed.
HOTTO BORU Becomes Siargao’s Go-To Late Night Japanese Kitchen for After Party Comfort Food!
At the center of HOTTO BORU’s growing popularity is Chef Arjo, whose focus on simple yet authentic Japanese flavors has turned each bowl into a signature experience. Backed by the creative vision of KIT, BEN, and SLO, the concept was built around the idea of a reliable late night kitchen that serves comfort food with consistency. Located in General Luna, the restaurant has quickly become part of the island’s culture, with visitors often ending their nights the same way by heading to HOTTO BORU for a hot bowl of udon and a welcoming atmosphere.

While we were in Siargao searching for food, this was the only place still open. Their Udon Soup is amazing it really helps with hangovers. The chef is the best!
My friend and I always ate here when we were in Siargao! I especially crave their Samurai Beef I’ve only ever had it here in the Philippines. 😋
