Saweetie is stepping into the world of competitive dance entertainment as a featured performer at the debut of the International Dance League (IDL), set to take place on May 2 at the Hammerstein Ballroom. While she will not be competing, the Bay Area artist will headline the opening event, which brings together elite dance crews from around the world in a high-energy showcase of choreography, culture and performance.
The inaugural IDL competition will feature six international teams battling for top honors, including crews from Vancouver, Oslo, Singapore, Los Angeles, Auckland and Seoul.
